Fixed:

1. We discovered that a few users have encountered stalling (indefinite, in at least one case) when attempting to start up their Daycasts. After sourcing the issue to a particular bit of backend code that was failing to initialize, we created a stub to replace that errant bit when it snoozes on duty. This is a temporary bandaid, not a permanent fix. Our goal was to enable users to run their Daycasts without issue while we develop a long-term solution.

Added:

1. We added diagnostics and error reporting early in the app startup process, which will help us know about, identify, and fix bugs affecting startup.
