Time tracking by and for software developers

We’re Open Door Teams, a custom software development firm, and when we set out to create our own time tracking application, we wanted a simple, type-and-click way to track our work hours. Our collective experience had proven that anything more complicated than that turns time tracking into a dreaded chore. So we kept things wildly straightforward.

You plan your day (no one else has edit access):

You plan your day (no one else has edit access).

You track time right from your plan:

you track time contemporaneously right from your plan.

That’s it. That’s all it takes to track time with Daycast. And thanks to actionable user feedback, it does more for us than just take the pain out of time tracking. It reduces friction, minimizes interruptions, and limits work in progress.

Software developers, we think Daycast can do the same for you.

Note that if you integrate Google Calendar or O365 Calendar, your calendar events will be automatically pushed to Daycast, though they won’t be added to your plan without your explicit click-to-add action. Events you choose not to add to your day plan can be hidden.
