Daycast + Pagico: How It Might Work

Your Pagico tasks could be automatically imported to Daycast where they’ll appear as suggestions on their start date (on their due date if there is no start date). You could then track time against those tasks.

Daycast + Screenful: How It Might Work

The general idea: Push time tracked on Pivotal Tracker projects in Daycast to Screenful where you can measure and analyze your team’s efforts and better plan your sprints. We’re not sure of the specifics on this one… Screenful doesn’t currently offer tracked time as a metric option in any of its views, so more thinking will need to go into a Daycast integration. We’d like to gauge user interest, so if pushing time to Screenful is something you’d like your team to be able to do, let us know. Comment below or email us. We’d love to hear from you about your team’s needs.

Daycast + Trello: How It Might Work

Automatically import Trello card titles from your boards into Daycast, where you can add them to your day plan with just a click and track the time you spend on them.

Daycast + Zoho Invoice: How It Might Work

Track billable hours in Daycast, then send tracked time to Zoho Invoice with just a click. Billable time will collect there until you’re ready to invoice.

Daycast + QuickBooks: How It Might Work

Send time tracked in Daycast to QuickBooks by clicking the Finalize Day button. Your team’s time collects in QuickBooks until you’re ready to run payroll.

Daycast + Email: How It Might Work

Forward email or send your own to me [at] daycast [dot] com and that email’s subject line becomes a potential task in your email-sourced feed in Daycast. From there, add it to any day with just a click. Only emails that you send to Daycast will appear in your email feed in Daycast.

Daycast + GitHub: How It Might Work

We think this integration should import pull requests that you are: the author of, assigned to, a reviewer for, and/or @ mentioned. These pull requests would collect in a GitHub feed, and you could click to add them to your day plan.

Daycast + Zendesk Support: How It Might Work

If Zendesk tickets that are assigned to you were automatically imported into a Zendesk feed in your Daycast, you could add them to your day plan with just a click and track time against them. Unassigned tickets could also appear in your feed, but in a way that differentiates them from tickets that are explicitly yours to manage.

Daycast + Slack: How It Might Work

We can think of lots of possibilities here. Status syncing, for one: Changing your status in one updates it in the other as well. You should also be able to create Daycast tasks from Slack. We’ve also thought about generating URLs in Daycast that would bring the user to a Slack channel or a DM with a teammate.

Daycast + Zapier: How It Might Work

If we build a Zapier integration, Daycast users will be able to connect Daycast with any of the 1,500+ apps that also have a Zapier integration. For example, a JIRA user could automatically add new issues to a feed in Daycast. A Basecamp user could send time tracked in Daycast to Basecamp via Zapier. And so on….

Daycast + Asana: How It Might Work

Asana tasks are automatically imported into Daycast where you can add them to your plan and log time against them. We envision collecting your Asana tasks in a feed in the Forecast Your Day panel and organizing them by project. Tasks due on the current day in Daycast will be recognizable by the Asana “today” glyph.

Daycast + Basecamp: How It Worked

Our Basecamp Classic integration imported projects and to-dos from Basecamp into Daycast, where users could add them to their day plans and track the time spent working on them. Time tracked against Basecamp projects was sent back to Basecamp when users clicked the Finalize Day button in Daycast.

We retired this integration because it fell out of use. If you’re interested in seeing it make a comeback, let us know!
